When you create Spam Filter policies you can also create daily spam summary emails. These emails are sent to users and consist of a user-specific report of spam mail activity occurring over the previous day. Users can select to deliver the email once or always allow emails from that sender. Users can also view a summary of emails currently held as spam.

For Groupwise 6.5.2 and newer users, the Groupwise Gwia has an added feature called X-SPAM-FLAG. This is enabled or disabled through Console One or directly editing the Gwia.cfg file.

As messages are flagged as spam by the Spam Mail Module, this header is added. Because of its presence, when an end user attempts to release the messages from Quarantine, upon receipt by Groupwise they're automatically added to the Groupwise user's Junk Mail Folder. Disabling this Xspam setting on the Gwia prevents this from occuring.

      1. Go to the properties of the GWIA
      2. On the SMTP/MIME hit the drop down and select Junk Mail
      3. Under Junk Mail make sure that the box is unchecked...

That's it.... good luck to you all
